exhausted.

we got the puppy! a little red shiba inu. he's just 6 pounds and so cute. being the science nerds we are, we named him helix. :] he looks like a fox i guess. i took a bunch of pictures, but i am way too tried to go get my camera and upload them. i will post some tomorrow so you can see what a cutie he is.

so i stayed at james' house while he was getting ready for bed and got the puppy to fall asleep before i left. i don't know how long he will sleep for, but i wish james good luck on his first night with the little guy, and i hope he gets some sleep. helix doesn't make too much noise, but he did start whining when we first put him in the little gated off area by himself hoping he would settle down. [he didn't.]

i guess he had a pretty big and exciting day today. he had his first airplane ride, met his new owner, went to the vet, finally came home with james at 6pm, went to old navy [but stayed in the car], target, pets' mart, gandolfo's, then to make his first feline friend [we took him to nicole's house to play], next he had to go cheer up deepa because she's newly single and a little sad [he did the job pretty well], then he met james' brother and hung out with him while we went to get a puppy gate. yeah so he had a big day. it was exciting at nicole's house because he started getting pretty hyper and playful with the cat. he was really fun to watch.

ok i am so tired. the little guy really wore me out! [alyssa, i have so much respect for you... i can't even imagine what it will be like to have a baby.]
