quiet.

yes. i've been quiet for a few days, which is a little rare for me.

i've been busy with my summer class. but now... i have my book paper due in the morning, so of course i need to procrastinate with a little update. ha.

aside from my paper, i have 2 more quizzes, 1 presentation, 1 more journal critique and then my final is next friday. i'm so ready to be done with this class. it's been a pain. not really what i expected it to be and just a lot of unnecessary work. i've learned a couple things... but i was expecting more of a methods class, and instead all we talk about is demographics and social conditions and diversity and things like that. i know that might all be important, but it's just not what i was looking for in this class.

anyway. my pcr finally worked with my new genomic template. [i had to cut the little beetle dude into 3 sections and his guts came running out. they were yellow and yucky. i can't believe i didn't freak out. ha.] so now i can go back and try some more things to see if i can get them to work. i'm really hoping. it's frustrating to not get any results.

my dad's birthday was monday. we had a little dinner here at the house. it was pretty nice. i'm so loving family time these days.
katie's birthday is saturday. so we will have another dinner, and then i think we might go out somewhere. my other friend's birthday is today... so she is planning to go out as well. i'll have to see if i am in the mood. i'm not always up for it. ha.

on sunday i start working at the scrapbook store too. it's their anniversary celebration that day, so it might just be crazy busy. i'm excited though. i'm really excited for my class to be done, so i can just focus on my thesis during the day and then have the night and weekends for fun things like scrapbooking and movies. :] yeah. i'm ready for summer now. i wasn't really ready when school got out... but now... i am so ready!

ok. i better get to work on this book critique. so lame.
i hope everyone has had a great week!

cleaning bug.

yep. i caught the cleaning bug tonight.

james and i were supposed to hang out, but he went to tahoe today and fell asleep when he got home. when he woke up around 11 tonight, he decided to go to a party and i didn't want to go. :/

so i stayed home and i don't know what happened, but i just got in the cleaning mood. i was going to watching pirates 2 to prepare to see pirates 3... but that didn't happen. i have a few more things to straighten up still, but my room is the cleanest it's been since i moved in. there are always the hard things that don't have anywhere to go, but aren't trash. those things are my downfall because i leave them in a pile somewhere and that pile just gets added to and added to until my whole room becomes a mess. so i'm going to try to take care of those things so there aren't any piles waiting to collect into a mess.

i also made this layout while cleaning my scrap desk. i still have a long way to go and i think i can get a few more layouts made in the cleaning process... it's more fun that way. [instead of putting things away or trying to find somewhere to put them away... just use them up.]

i also went to barnes and noble tonight to pick my book for my summer class. we have to read a book of our choice that has to do with education. i tried to look for something regarding science education, but they didn't have anything... so i just got a more general book... something to do with how to be an effective teacher. it looks like a pretty good one. they didn't have anything else that i wanted though. i'm still anxiously waiting for the fourth sisterhood book to come out in paperback. yes. i'm obsessive, and i can't have the fourth one in hardcover because then it won't "match" the first three that are paperbacks. ha.

ok. well i'm off to put some laundry in the dryer, and then it's time for sleep.

sore throat.

i woke up this morning with a terrible sore throat. i've been waiting for it to go away all day now, but it's not. :[

what else... i think i might finally get my new glasses tonight. i went to the eye doctor over a week ago, but when i went to pick new glasses, i couldn't find any that i liked and no one was available to help me look. so i think i'll jump in the shower and try again.

and i just finished these. well one i finished last night... it's about scrapping your "home town." i don't have any photos of fallon that would be good, so i did reno. i usually tell people i am from reno since i was born here and lived here for a while... if i'm really talking to the person about it then i will explain that i have a little bit of fallon mixed in. :]

the second one is using the new love, elsie line. i am so excited about it. i bought all the toby papers. i'm going to buy more... but i've been stalking 2 of the scrapbook stores here waiting for it to come in, so now i feel obligated to buy from both of them. haha. the other store isn't getting their stuff until tuesday. so yeah. loving the new lines. oh and i didn't use any adhesive on this page.

ok. off to the shower now. i hope everyone has a fabulous weekend. :]

:|

there is this one episode of sex in the city where big is dating a new girl. she's a movie star and of course it starts off great for big, but then it goes all wrong. he says over and over when looking to carrie for sympathy or whatever "she can reach me... but i can't ever get her." referring to how she can call him whenever, but he can never get ahold of her.

do you ever have a moment... listening to a song, reading a book, or watching a movie or show where you are just like YES! AMEN! etc. etc. when you relate to the plot so much that you almost think they took the words right from your mouth?

yeah. that's how i've felt in regards to garrett. [there. i'll say his name.] he changed his phone number and sent out a message telling everyone to get back to him for his new number. i responded. but he never did. he called me when he was home with his parents for a week because he could use their phone and was having girl problems and was just generally bored i suppose. i talked to him. tried to help him feel better and whatnot. i needed to ask him something about a month ago, so i resorted to sending him a message on the space. he never responded.

now.

today i was in lab for a good part of the day and wasn't around my phone. when i finally looked at it, i had 14 missed calls, 2 voicemails, and 2 text messages from a number i didn't know. that was all within 2 hours, which really seems extensive to me. so i just called it instead of trying to sort through the messages.

i had no idea what to expect. but then garrett answered. it turns out... he wanted to know where a puppy store in reno is because he was driving through on his way to fallon with nicole [the girl he moved to rocklin for, the same girl he called me to complain about when they broke up] and wanted to stop by the puppy store.

excuse me!? that warranted 14 phone calls?

yeah. i was a little confused. and then i started thinking about it and the more i thought... the more angry i became. i just feel like there was a motive beyond wanting to go to a puppy store. honestly, you can google things like that. i just know that i would never call him [well if i could that is... since i don't have his number anyway] and say "james and i are driving through rocklin and i was wondering if you could tell me where this certain store is located." i just wouldn't do something like that. it seems unnecessary, and there is no need to rub things in each others' faces.

so after talking to my friend about it, i decided that i would call him and just kind of ask what was going on and pretty much tell him that it's not ok for him to be able to contact me whenever he pleases, but never respond to me.

then. i got home and my mom told me garrett had called the house today. [honestly. a bit out of control.] and she said the caller id said nicole, so she thought it was my friend nicole and answered it. ok. so the number he was calling me from was her number. i'm definitely not going to call that number to carry out the above plan.

so i've just resolved that i am going to be stonger and start ignoring him when he calls me. i just think he is looking for a reaction when he calls, and there needs to be a reality check to let him know that i am not just available at his leisure. i want to maintain a friendship with him, but it needs to be fair, and this just isn't. i need to sort of do some housekeeping for my emotions and my life. i know that i let people affect me too much, and i think this will be the way i can help it. it's funny because the biggest thing that made me so unhappy towards the end of our relationship was the fact that he took me for granted SO MUCH. he invested very little time into me, but knew that i would always be there when nothing else was available. and i was. and now i realize that i still am. and it's making me unhappy just like it did back then.

so yeah. i just needed to get that off my chest. :|

funny feeling.

getting old.
ack.
i don't like it.

my sister got a really cool job offer today. there are still some details to work out, but it's looking like she'll be moving to colorado within maybe 6 months. don't get me wrong... i am totally excited for her. she has ALWAYS wanted to live in the denver area because that is where our grandparents live. so yeah. it's just going to be really good for her too. i sense that her life has maybe become a bit mundane here, and she's been itching for a change. she's been saying over and over again for more than a year now that she wants to move. plus the job is a really good one too. so it's good news for sure. i do hope it works out for her.

at the same time. it makes me feel old, and i don't like that. when my brother left, it was pretty hard for me. i still miss having him around. but when katie leaves, it's going to be worse... i can already tell. i'll be the only one left close to home. i realize that perhaps my family is a bit rare to stick together for so long. my sister is almost 26, and i think paul was 28 when he moved out. so yeah, we've definitely stuck together longer than most families. i feel lucky for that, but maybe that just makes it harder too. i don't know. i just have this awkward feeling over the whole getting older thing. kind of like anxiety. maybe mixed with a little bit of fear. so unfortunately, i think my only solution is going to be just to try not to think about it.

james and i had a good dinner with my parents tonight. i really like the way he is able to connect with my parents. last time we visited his parents, i was getting that feeling too. it's a little harder because they usually speak korean to him for a while... i think until they realize that i am there and totally lost. ha. but i do feel comfortable around them and also like they accept me. so yeah.

oh. my pcr didn't work when i ran my electrophoresis today. my pi was gone, so i'll have to check with him tomorrow. but i think the problem could be that i was using old template dna. so i'm probably going to have to extract my own cDNA and gDNA. that means i have to take apart some beetles. ha. i don't know how i feel about that. i better get used to it though. i told them i wasn't afraid of bugs... so i better live up to my word. :]

ok. well. i'm either going to go read or go scrapbook. i should read... but you just never know. maybe i should go to starbucks to read so that i'm away from temptation. ha.

procrastinating.

i used to listen to this band when i was working in the darkroom last semester. it just makes things more fun. :]

keys & stuff.

today i got my very own key to my new lab. pretty crazy. at my old lab, i never had a key to myself. all of the undergrads had a key that we just kind of passed around if we knew we wanted to come in on the weekend or whatever. i don't know why, but it feels like a big deal to have that new addition on my key ring. ha.

my class went pretty well. i have two chapters to read tonight in the text. i realized today that we only have 14 actual class meetings. how weird. one is for the final too. and one was today. so i only have 12 more days of instruction. that sounds so funny to me.

that layout is for an andy warhol challenge. i made it 8.5x11 originally, but it just wasn't right, so i switched it around and made it 12x12. i now realize once again why i don't scrap 12x12. it's so much easier to scan pages than to try to get a good photo. seriously. plus this one is on a transparency, which makes it all the more difficult to capture in a photo.

and sort of on that note. i've now made my second 12x12 layout. i guess this means i'll need to look for a 12x12 album now. :]

ok. i'm off to read now. james and i are recording heroes tonight... so if i get all my reading done, maybe he will come over and we can watch it.

i hope you all have a good week. :]

tomorrow.

i haven't been feeling like i have much to blog about lately. but it just hit me that tomorrow will be a big day... i'm starting my summer school class, and then i will go into my new lab for my first day of working on my thesis. i really have no idea what to expect.

today i need to do tons of laundry. i've gotten back into the habit of just buying new clothes instead of washing what i have. i do that every so often and it's awful. my room is such a mess with laundry everywhere. so i'm trying to get myself in the mood to clean. ha.

i also want to see shrek 3 tonight. i've heard really good things about it and i've been wanting to go to a movie for a while now. james has been doing his own thing a lot lately... mostly going to the lake and hanging out with the guys. i don't mind it too much, but i'm starting to miss him. so i'm going to try to convince him that we should see the movie. yesterday we did go to our friend devon's graduation party in carson. she is leaving on monday to go the prague for the summer to do research over there. she did her thesis in an organic chem lab, so i'm pretty sure she is going over to prague for more chemistry related stuff. when she gets back at the end of the summer, she has a very exciting job at an up and coming biotech company in the bay area. it's sort of interesting actually, the founder of the company dropped out of stanford to start her own research company... it's grown and she's now a millionaire. ack. crazy. i mean... who does that!? ha.

oh and i'm stoked that i came out with a 4.0 this semester. it was my hardest, but also most fulfilling semester so far. i now actually feel like i know a great deal of biochemistry, and i also feel like i'm ready and able to start my thesis.

i decided to take the job at the scrapbook store too. i decided that i'm not going to start until june, but i almost want to start now!

ok. well i need to go start on the laundry! i hope everyone had a good weekend. :]

go.

there is a new challenge blog... you can check it out here:
http://onelittleword.blogspot.com/

i'm really excited about this one. i've decided that i am going to make a 6x6 album with all my word pages in it. i've only done one other 6x6 album, and it was for a gift when i first started scrapbooking. i'm loving the size this time around. and since i have lots of little things to say about each word, it's going to be perfect. :]

new.

i think i may have found a website that will be my new favorite:

http://www.scrapinstyletv.com/

go check it out and join. i think i just launched yesterday. it looks pretty amazing so far. :]

and here's a little video action:

i thought i had posted this one, but i went and looked, and i don't see it. well anyway. you can't see me in the video, but i am standing in the crowd to the right side. ha.

i hope everyone is having a fabulous week!

i had a good day. james and i went shopping for a good portion of the day and had dinner with my mom at olive garden. yummy. OH! i just remembered i have some tiramisu in the refridg. waiting for me. :] i'm going to have a bite and then it's off to bed. i have to go to the eye doctor tomorrow and i think i will take my application back to the scrapbook store. i talked to mom and dad and they said it sounds like a good idea. my mom just warned me to make sure that i make more money working there then i spend. haha.

oh. the book i picked up the other day is called "happy birthday or whatever" by annie choi. i'm loving it. she's korean, and she just talks about her silly family and whatnot. i keep mentioning things from it to james... i think that's the main reason why i like the book. i feel like i'm getting some insider tips or just more general knowledge about his culture. :] in fact, there was this one part that i almost asked james' mom about when i went to carson with him the other night because i want to know more. ha.

and on that note... i am IN LOVE with my mini camera. i looked on ebay and i can order 10 packs of 10 films on here. 100 photos. i think that should be good for a while. [his dad brought home 2 packs of 10, but james and i used 4 photos within the first 10 min. ha.]

ok. tiramisu is calling my name. goodnight.

100.

this is my 100th post. i can't believe that. [that's really a lot of procrastinating.]

so today is a good day:

-woke up later than i should have to a voicemail letting me know that the molecular grades are up. i got an A! i thought i was going to end up with an A-, but it turned out to be a solid A. i am so happy and excited right now.

-went to drop a class today (photo II in the summer, since i will be gone for a week and i can't take it.) and double checked my scholarship offer, and i got another scholarship. ahh. exciting. (maybe i shouldn't graduate in a year so i can continue to make money for going to school. haha.)

-trying to walk out the door to go take care of some things at school and my hambly order was there! i had to walk back in and open it up. ahh. the vanilla smell is so yummy.

-found a Nevada sweatshirt in the campus bookstore, where clothes are 20% off for finals. i've been needing one of those. i used to have one, but it got ruined in the wash. i'm not super spirity, but there are times when i think it would be nice to wear one. i've been wanting a rather simple white hooded one with just blue nevada letters, and i found exactly that. and for 20% off. nice.

-i stopped by the scrapbook store by my house to get the new rhonna farrer chipboard pieces, and i got offered a job. i don't know if i will take it, but it would be nice. he said they really need someone for sundays, so i'm thinking about it. it would be pretty easy, and nice to have extra money. so i'll have to run it by my parents and see what they think. [but i did just fill out the application. hehe.]

-i'm going to go to carson now because james' parents just got home and they have my new mini polaroid camera! that is probably one of the most exciting parts of today. eeeek. i can't wait to see the little beauty.

-oh and on friday, i think i'm going to six flags. i want tons of people to go with me. so we'll see how it goes. i just think it would be fun to get a big group together and go for the day. plus i haven't been there since i was like 13. ha.

hair.

i'm sitting here with hair dye in my hair right now. it was a bit of an impulse. barnes and noble didn't work out quite like i wanted. both the books i want are still in hardcover and i'm too cheap to buy them until they come out in paperback. i did find one to buy as i was on my way out. [i guess that was an inpulse as well. ha.]

so anyway. i went by starbucks to get an iced venti green tea lemonade with classic and 2 pumps of raspberry on my way home. there was a ton of traffic because for some reason starbucks was the place to be tonight. so i went out the back way... which took me by wal-mart and i remembered that i have been wanting to dye my hair.

let me just say... i hate wal-mart. i try really hard not to shop there. i don't agree with their business practices, and plus everytime i go, i have another bad experience to make me never want to go back. i think i've been there a total of 3 times in the last 2 years. tonight was the norm. the checker kept walking away to take stuff to the return pile because the customer in front of me kept saying she didn't want things as the checker was ringing them up. ugh. so annoying. when that customer was finally done, the checker walked away again for who knows what reason. it took me a good 15 minutes of waiting to check out with one box of dye and one package of sour patch kids. blah.

so yeah. dye in my hair = can't wear my glasses = can't do a whole lot right now. so i decided to post this:
which i made two nights ago. i used a ranger paint dabber to add the green paint. people have been really ranting about them lately, so i decided to check them out. i bought just this green one to start out, but i think i will definitely buy more. it was easy to use and less messy than using the making memories acrylic paints with a foam brush. i will still use those though because i have so many of them. but paint dabbers might be a new favorite.

sorry if there are lots of typos in this post. like i said, i'm not wearing my glasses so i can't really see what i'm writing. [which reminds me... i really need to go to the eye doctor!]

ok. well it's nearly time to wash this out now. goodnight. :]

:]

my last final went really well this morning. :]

right afterwards, a bunch of us went to the bar across the street and everyone, except me, took a shot. ha. nice. then we headed up to tahoe. it was a bit cold at times from the wind, but it was really nice. sunny and warm but not too hot. a bunch of the boys [james' friends from carson] were joking with me about being so pale... things like, "i'm glad i have my sun glasses on since you're so tan!" and "so did you just get home from antarctica?" yeah. oh well. i'll have to get used to it because deepa told me that she's making me go up with them everytime.

the only sad part was that i forgot my camera! i can't believe it. ack. so i'll have to bring it next time.

when we were driving to james' house to have the bbq, it finally hit me that the semester is over. i am so happy. and it turned out a lot better than i thought it would as far as my grades go. i could potentially get all A's, which would just be awesome.

i need to shower and get the sunscreen off me now. i think after that, i'm going to go to barnes and noble and look around for a bit. i'm super tired, but i feel like 9:30 is too early to go to bed... so barnes and noble will be a good mellow spot. plus i need to pick up a few fun reads for the summer.

anyway. i hope everyone had a good friday. :]

Thursday, May 10, 2007

whoa there.

i can't believe i have my last final tomorrow! i am already thinking about how good it's going to feel to hand in the exam and walk out of the classroom. ahh. so good. i'm actually feeling ok about the material too. i still have to go over a bit more, and i'm having trouble understanding the yeast two hybrid and phage stuff, but overall, i'm feeling a lot better about this material than the material for my previous exam.

deepa, james and i are going to tahoe tomorrow after the final. deepa and i are probably going to wear our swimming suits to the final. ha. [under our clothes of course.] after that, we might go to carson and have a bbq at james' house there. i honestly don't care what i do... i just know it's going to feel so nice to be free from stress. :]

ohh. i had my cell bio essay exam today. i think it went really well. we had to read three research articles and prepare a critical summary. on the exam, he gave us two options of the three articles and we had to write about one. so as long as you prepared two essays from the three options, you were guarenteed to have one of them appear as an option for the final. i had typed out my essay before hand [because i can type way faster than i can write] and then i did a practice run of writing it out before i went into the final, and then in the final, i actually ended up writing out 6 pages in under 30 minutes. i was writing so fast... my arm got seriously sore. ha. i was nervous because i was one of the first ones done, and generally that's not the case. but when i talked to everyone, they all said they hadn't written out their essays beforehand, only the bullet points they wanted to cover. so maybe that's why. anyway, it was kind of a stupid final, but at least i didn't have to study for an actual exam.

ok. i better get back to work now. almost done!!

Wednesday, May 9, 2007

excitement. :]

eeek! there are so many things to be excited about:

-only 2 more finals. seriously seeing that light at the end of the tunnel right now. :]

-i can get an A in molecular bio lecture. i didn't think it was possible, but today i found out the scale is better than anticipated. our professor made our class "too hard". :]

-i cleaned the photo lab today for 3 and a half hours. i got to know my professor for my next photo class pretty well because i was the only one who came right when the clean-up started. :]

-i'll probably get to be a lab assistant next semester = 24 hour access to the darkroom. :]

-i'm teaching the biochem freshmen again next semester. ahh. we call them our biochem babies. :]

-doing a river clean-up on saturday with a bunch of the biochem buddies. those always make my soul feel happy. :]

-i'm eagerly awaiting for my order to come from hambly. i can't wait to open the box. :]

-next week i get to sleep in. :]

-the week after i get to start my education class. :]

-my hair is straight today. yes, this is exciting because i've been too lazy/busy to do it for about 2 weeks now. :]

-& & last night when james saw my straight hair, he told me i was pretty and i believed him. :]

-this summer i'll be working in a lab again. i've kind of missed it a bit, so i'm looking forward to getting back to the DNA manipulation and whatnot. :]

-my dad told me the other day that we are going to clean-up the downstairs family room and make a scrapbook area. :]

-after my final on friday, i finally get to play with my D80 and my two lomogrophic cameras. :]

-james' parents will be home from korea on sunday, and i will get my mini polaroid camera. :]

-i ate a whole medium cherry artic rush float today. i've never actually finished one of those before today. :]

-i have popsicles and a huge hershey's bar with almonds in the freezer. :]

-i've been driving my sister's car the past two days, and she has satellite radio... i found this 90s alternative station and it's an amazing blast from my past. out of control singing along taking place. :]

-i bought the around the block paper tagger yesterday. i can't wait to use it on a page. :]

-my parent's have been here since friday. i just really love having them around. :]

it's time to go to the library now and get to work. i'm almost too excited to study. i don't know what's going on, but i'm just all giddy and happy and eeek! ha. i really need to study hard though. so i'm off. i hope everyone is having a fabulous week. :]

mini.

this is a mini paper bag album i made tonight. it didn't take very long at all, and it was super fun. i found some tiny paper bags at target the other day... they are about 6in x 3in. i printed 9 photos on one 8x10 sheet, so they are about 2.5in x 3in. i just added a photo to each page, some ribbon and a little puffy paint. this little mini is making me so happy. [sorry for the bad photo, but i wanted to post it.]

i didn't get home from my photography final until 11:30 tonight. it started at 7:00. so it was rather long, but now we don't have to go back on wednesday to finish. wedensday is actually our prep day for finals, so we don't have classes, but my professor said if we didn't finish our critique tonight we would have to come then to finish it.

i also had my final molecular lab due today along with my final written exam in lab. my grade is pretty solid in there, so i didn't study very much. i was up until 5am writing the darn lab, so i'm really surprised that i'm not already asleep now that it's 2:30am, and i only had about 3 hours of sleep last night. ahh well. that's what happens to me when school gets too busy and i still want to procrastinate.

now i just have my cell bio final on thursday, which is an essay exam [blah.] and then my molecular final on friday. i can't believe it. i have to really not think about it too much or i start to flip out. haha.

anyway. i am off to try and fall asleep. just wanted to post the little mini and a short update. :] have a good week.

happy cinco de mayo.

today my club went bowling for our end of the year event. it was pretty fun. not very many people came... i think because finals start next week and people [including me] are stressing about having way too much to do and not enough time to fit it all in. but i basically wasted my whole day. :-/

carol, james, nicole and i went to eat korean food afterwards. i have to say, i'm not the biggest fan. it was actually pretty good though. i got a japanese dish though. ha.

now i'm going to get some ice cream with erin and then i really need to get to work on my lab final and studying. ack.

just wanted to give a little update though. i hope everyone had a good national scrapbooking day/cinco de mayo. :]

attention coach designers.

would you please consider coming out with a camera bag?

yeah. i'm having trouble finding one that i think is cute enough.

on another note, i really need to be done with school. i can sense several mental breakdowns on the way in the next few days though. i still have so much work left to do on my cell paper. and when that's done there will be no relief. it's going to be non-stop madness for until friday afternoon. ugh. i just want to go to sleep. i haven't been feeling good at all the past few days and i wish i could try to sleep it off, but there is no time to sleep.

i just have to tell myself that soon enough i will be able to breathe again. :[

camera. [for heather.]

i don't know the best was to get back to you, so hopefully you'll see this:

i bought the rebel xti, but wasn't too sure about it. i have some friends who love it, and i'm sure i could have gotten used to it, but i currently shoot with a nikon film camera... so i'm more familiar with how nikons work.

i did some research and went to best buy to play around with the nikon d80, and i really liked the way it worked, so i decided to get that and return the rebel xti.

just as an fyi to anyone who reads this:
if you want a rebel, check out costco. they have the best deal that i could find. i believe they sometimes have other cameras as well, but generally, i just see the rebel there.

if you want something else, like a d80 or any supplies, check bhphotovideo.com which was recommended by my photography professor as a good resource for us to buy all of our film stuff. they have really good deals on cameras too. and believe me, i am a total skeptic about shopping online... i resist it as much as possible, but i have been totally happy with both my orders from them. [one for film supplies, one for my camera.]

in other news, i only got two hours of sleep sunday night because i was still working on my molecular paper. procrastination. ugh. something i always say i will work on not doing, but always do it anyway. :-/

now i have my cell paper due thursday, which of course i haven't started yet. but i am hoping to motivate myself to read and work on writing a few pages tonight. then if i'm lucky, i'll be motivated to finish it up tomorrow and get a good sleep. :]

i can't believe this semster will be done soon. i'm super excited, but also realizing that i only have one more year, which is slightly scary because then i have to "start my life" haha. this time next year will definitely be a crazy time in my life... i'll be finishing up my thesis and getting ready to say goodbye to some of my college friends. ack. so strange to think about.

i'm hoping this summer will be a fun one. it should be. [almost anything will top last summer though.] i'm excited to start my education class in a couple weeks. [i'll have one week for break because my finals get over early.] education, or well... teaching, is always something i've been kind of interested in, so i think this class will be a good one as far as helping me really see if i am interested.

anyway, i hope the week is going well for all of you!
