sew.

i just finished this tonight for a challenge to use no adhesive. i've been wanting a sewing machine for a long time and now... after hand stitching all of that... i want one even worse. the pink felt is really hot pink, but my scanner decided it's pale pink for some reason. i don't know how to fix it. oh well.

tonight james and i had dinner with carol and her sister, sue. sue just got here about a month ago from korea. she is finishing her last semster of high school. i don't think i could do that... move to an entirely new country for my last semester of high school? she's pretty brave. anyway, carol and i are total picture-taking-nerds and sue is too! it's so exciting to be able to take out your camera to shoot some randomness and not have the people you are with think you are strange, but instead, get their cameras out too. like when we left pf changs tonight, there was water on the pavement perfectly in the shape of a heart. i thought it was totally photo worthy and they agreed. :]

tonight i finally settled my birthday dinner plans. well i still don't know who's coming, but we made the reservation and stuff.

tomorrow carol is going to come over to see my scrapbook pages and then i think we might do a little shopping for scrap stuff. i also kind of want to find an outfit for my birthday dinner. i found a cute dress, but i am thinking i might take it back and try to get something a little warmer.

ok. i better get some sleep so i'm not dozing off in molecular bio tomorrow. :]
