thirsty.

well it's nearly midnight and i am aching for a tangerine frappuccino or a carmel apple cider. the problem? i am in my pajamas and my hair is a mess. i have a pet peeve about people who go out in public in their pajamas and i refuse to do it. even to go to starbucks at midnight. james is in carson so i can't talk him into going for me either. :[

today was a nice day of nothing. i only left the house one time to go eat japanese food with my mom and dad. i had thought about going to a scrapbooking store, but i was too lazy. haha. my mom brought me the february zingBOOM kit that finally arrived. it was part of my birthday present, but it took quite a while to arrive. there are some fun things in there that i'm excited to play with. it was my first time ordering a kit online. i don't know if i will ever do it again... it seems like there is always going to be some stuff in the kit that i will never use. i guess part of the point is to push you to use things that you wouldn't normally pick out. i'll have to see how i do on using things in this kit.

tonight i worked on a page for this blog: http://scrapjacked.blogspot.com/ and it's pretty much finished. now i just don't know if i want to post it for the challenge or keep it for myself. i love the page. it's a photo of james and me and some journaling about us. i'm just thinking now that it's kind of a personal page and i don't know if i want to put it out there or not. i might just do another one or not post one for the challenge at all. i'm being a little too analytical tonight maybe. ha.

oh! last night i found out that i won a little prize for the cardstock challenge [the page is posted here below somewhere.] that i made for the fiskateers page. i have never won anything scrapbook related, so i was super excited. i don't even know what i won, but it doesn't really matter. i'm excited either way. :]

tomorrow i need to work on my lab notebook. i let is slide this week because i was busy studying and whatnot, but i need to try to keep it up to date so that it's not overwhelming when i am trying to write my big lab report. [we don't have to keep a notebook, it's just to help us keep track of everything for when we have to write out the big reports. we don't turn in a report for each lab, since our labs build on each other. we just write three big reports for the whole semester. a little scary because you can't really mess one up without ruining your grade.] i also need to shoot some film. i don't have to shoot any for an assignment, but it would be good to get a little more practice.

ok. well i wish i had some fun photos to share or something to make this post a bit more interesting, but i don't have anything. maybe i will scan the page i made later and post it on here.
