sweet.

i just found out that sprinkles might open a shop in vegas. [!!!]
i've been wanting to have a sprinkles cupcake for so long now. so a store in vegas would make me a happy girl. :]
until it's open, and until i can visit, maybe i'll just have to make some of my own. sounds like fun. a little cupcake making girls' night. ha. i always get ideas like that, but never actually follow though with them. ah well. fun to think about anyway.

otherwise, pam passed her defense today. so we had a big lab dinner to celebrate. [we had planned the dinner either to celebrate or condole, but celebrating was much more desirable.]
we ate at this italian place that i had never been to before in victorian square. it was really good, and i was too full for dessert, so i'm thinking i might have to go back again and save room since they have tiramisu. :]

i can't believe school is starting on monday! i was so ready to go back just a little while ago, but now that it's so near, i am starting to freak out a little bit. not feeling so ready anymore. at all. :/
but it will be nice to get back to a routine... and next semester will be a busy one. 16 credits, plus teaching the freshmen biochemers, plus working on my thesis, plus working and teaching at the scrapbook store. it'll be good though. [i just have to keep telling myself that. ha.]

tonight, i was going to work on the darejack and my seek and balance pages for one little word, but i can't get myself to start on them. well. the seek page is started, but it needs some work and am out of ideas. so instead, i'm watching the food network challenge. ha. it's a sweet 16 cake challenge. good stuff.
but maybe i should make a little trip to starbucks and see if i can jumpstart some late night creativity.
