i took this photo in chicago.
when i looked up and saw all of those flags, it was certainly a patriotic moment.

i'm thankful to be and american.
i'm thankful for our freedoms.
and i'm thankful for our troops.
not just today, but everyday.

still, it goes without saying that today is an important day to take some time and think about america.
