veteran's day + a new goal.

happy veteran's day and a big thank you to everyone who has served our country.
i truly appreciate the courage and strength of the men and women who have chosen to serve.
and not just today of course. everyday.

last night, i went on a little search in hopes of finding some old photos of my dad and grandpa in uniform to add to this post. i couldn't find any around here though. so i've decided to make it a goal over the holidays while i am visiting my grandparents to try to acquire some old photos.

i think i've mentioned that my grandpa swears by slide film. so i might have to find some slides and take them to a photo shop and have them printed. i think my sister has been wanting to do this as well, so perhaps we can work on it together.
