this is so not ideal.

deepa and i saw bride wars tonight. it was the perfect girls' night movie. :]
we loved it, and it's on my list of movies to purchase.

it spurred a long talk about marriage all the way back to my house.
she seems to think i'll get engaged a lot sooner than i think i will.
but. i'm pretty sure i'm right. ha.
25 is no longer a need to be married by this age/scary age.
it's more like 30 now. ha.

anyway. the title of this post is a line from the movie, and i've put it into my memory bank as something to pull out when things aren't going so well. i think it might help calm me down.

in other news...

i cooked my third meal of the week last night. it was a repeat of grilled cheese. but i cooked it at home, so it counts even if it was a repeat meal. i'm still sick, and not showing signs of improvement yet, so i'm just happy to have met my goal. i did make tomato soup for j, so it was slightly different. ok. not really. maybe when i'm not sick i'll be able to add a little variety. but it's hard to come up with a meal plan when you have no appetite.

i'm also pretty much over of most of my music. i've been playing my ipod in my studio while i try to clean, and there's not a whole lot on there that i want to listen to. tonight, i realized that the problem is that i haven't purchased any music in a while. i used to buy cds on a weekly basis. now it's more like one a month, if that. so i think i might treat myself to a couple new albums before we go to nyc. i'll need something good for the long plane rides... an ipod full of music that no longer fits my tastes won't do.

ok. i'm off to clean. i might even take a wild stab at making something. it's been a while, so we'll see.
