el fin.

the end of summer! yikes.
tonight i did a few things to wrap up the summer. i finished watching the last two episodes of season 6 of sex in the city. that means that i finished watching the whole series this summer. [next, i think i might try watching the office. i hear it's fantastic.]
i also did some laundry. it kind of paired nicely with sex in the city... i could pause it to go start a new load and whatnot. it made the whole laundry process much better. :]
i've also gathered some notebooks, found my planner, and planned a little lunch for tomorrow.

it makes me slightly sad that college has become so routine that the excitement of "the first day of school" is essentially gone. most of my professors hardly spend any time going over the syllabus and usually just jump right into the material. so that whole comfortable, adjustment period that used to be the first day of school no longer exists.
i still try to buy school supplies to get excited, but all i really need these days is pens. last year, i bought three 10 packs of notebooks at target for $1 each to stock up. i also have more note cards by now then i will be able to use.
the only exciting thing left is buying my textbooks. and i suppose that's only exciting to me because i don't actually have to pay for them, my parents do. but because of my excitement, i buy them as soon as they go on sale, which was at the beginning of the month.
so yeah. not a whole lot of excitement left. mostly just feeling the stress set in now. :/

oh. and work was crazy today. we have so many boxes of new product and no room for it. so i had a busy day of trying to rearrange things and fit the new stuff. i made some good progress, and it sure did make the day go by faster. still waiting for hambly. i will be so so so excited when it gets here. but i think i'll have to be patient for a while.

anyway. i better get to bed. my first class is at 8:00am. yikes.
