happy valentine's day. :]

howie and james have been cooking up a storm in the kitchen today for deepa and me. :]
they decided to cook us a five course meal, which turned into a six course meal. we just finished course number four and we're taking a break. the soup was my favorite so far... it's a creamy bacon and potato soup with shrimp and a ton of other veggies. it was so yummy. we played a round of scattergories, which was hilarious and now we're watching our favorite performances from abdc. james and i have them all saved on the dvr thing. haha.

the highlight of the day was probably my gift from james. it came in one of my favorite little blue boxes. :]

last night, the boys had a poker tournament at the little wal, so i decided to stop by and hang out when they were done playing. i ran into owen there. we talked for a while, and it was pretty hilarious. he confessed that he changed his eighth grade schedule so that he would have some classes with me. all of this time, i had no idea. i guess he had no idea about my little crush on him back in the day either. it was just seriously so funny. he said, "wow. we probably could have had one of those month long relationships if we had known." haha. it was a good reminder of the awkwardness of the junior high days.
